We're building hutches and coops over here. I don't reckon the animals care if they're pretty or not, as long as they're functional. But it sure compels the farmer to do the daily chores when form marries function ☺️

This time last year, I didn't know about Wild Gift, and since then the people who make up this awesome org have become some of the most inspiring, badass, and authentic people I know.
If you are under the age of 35 and working as a social/environmental entrepreneur to create a more just and sustainable world, then please reach out to me. I'd love to tell you more about how to apply or nominate someone for our year-long fellowship that's bookended by two treks deep in the Idaho backcountry. The deadline is fast-approaching (May 24) so don't dilly-dally.

We're so proud of our kindergarten-graduate, Heidi, who has learned so much this year like how to pick out her outfits the night before, give herself a ponytail, and tie her own shoes; how to make new friends and resolve conflict amongst them peacefully, how to make the best of her least favorite part (siesta) and the most of her favorite part (hula hooping), and perhaps most excitingly...how to READ!
Thank you, Carolina Friends School, for a great year despite the corona craziness of the last quarter. It's been a great introduction to school. ❤️
