***2019 Turkey Announcement: We regret to inform you that we will NOT be taking turkey reservations this year. Unfortunately, we have too much meat in the freezer that we need to sell before we feel like we can take on the financial risk of raising turkeys (turkeys are notoriously finicky).
Our friend, and fellow-farmer, Ben Grimes, of Dawnbreaker Farms, is still taking reservations for pastured-turkeys. We’d love for you to support him; in fact, he has sent a lot of customers our way the past couple of years. It’s great to be a part of farm community where we each take turns supporting one another. We have a lot of chicken and pork in the freezer for your other everyday and holiday needs. We’d love to sell some meat to you (and deliver it for free within a 30-minute radius)!***
Our birds are $7.50/lb and the average size is 15 lbs which means that you can expect to pay about $110-$120. If you’re concerned that our turkeys are too big for the amount of people you need to feed, consider going in with another person. We will split birds in half for an additional $10/bird. We will also butterfly/spatchcock your bird–our preferred method for the most even cooking, also for $10/bird.
To secure one of our delicious turkeys for your holiday feast, fill out the form from the link below. We will hold your reservation only after we have received your $50 deposit, which you can make online or by check.
We will process our turkeys the weekend before Thanksgiving for fresh, on-farm pick-up Tuesday-Wednesday, 9am-8pm.
Want to join our harvest crew? Send us an email. We welcome community members to learn the basic skills of the turkey harvest by joining us from 7am-5pm for slaughter and/or from 8am-4pm for cut-ups and bagging. Participants will receive $12/hour off the cost of their turkey or other Edens Meats products, a bottomless supply of good coffee, and a farm-to-table midday meal. Backing out the morning-of is not an option. Serious inquiries only, please.
